how to find out the time of each revision made to a word file?

Dear all,

I have a MS word file that has been revised 5 times. I am wondering how I
can find out the time of each revision. Under the "properties", it shows the
number of revisions (=5), and the time for the last and first revisions. I
can't find any information about the time of the middle 3 revisions.

Hi Mary

There might be some confusion over terminology here.

Are these Versions (that you create with File > Version) or Revisions (that
you create using Track Changes) or Revision Number (which you see in Windows
Explorer's File > Properties dialog box)?

If you're looking for Versions information, use File > Version and it will
show the date and time each version was created.

If you're looking for Revisions in Word, then display the tracked changes
and hover over each one to see when the change was made. For more

If you're looking at the Revision Number that Windows Explorer's File >
Properties box gives you, then there is no further information available. It
simply tells you how many times you've saved the document.
