How to find resource overallocation

Hello ,

I am using MSP 2003. Suppose there are 50 resources assigned to various
projects.

How do I know :

1) resource allocation of each resource i.e which resource is allocated to
which task in a project and
2) if there is overloading for a resource and when the resource is
overloaded / overallocated

Requset you to update how the above information can be got through both, in
PWA and MSP.

Hi Girija,

within the Resource Usage you can see resources that are overallocated
because the resource name is red and bold. If you want to find out when they
are overallocated you can include the "overallocation" row into the timsheet
section of the Resource Usage view. This will give you the exact day and
amount of hours a resource is overallocated.

Hello Marc,

But that will be visible only for that resource who is assigned, and not all
concerned people can view, right?

If I want to know Under Projects in Tasks Summary View, who all are assigned
and if they are overallocated? How do I view this ? Or is there any other way?

HiGirija,

You can do the same in the task usage view. There you also have the ability
to include the overallocation.
