how to find the user data in compound doc file

anybody having the idea about compound doc file
which is the format of the word document..
Where can i find the user data in the compound file..

Precisely which data are you looking for?

Then you need to do one of the following.

1. Obtain details of the Word Binary File Format. This is not published, but
is provided by Microsoft to certain selected partners.

2. Save the document as XML or RTF, and read the data from converted files.
Both the XML and RTF file formats have been published.

thanks for your information..
I have compound file format..I am able get the
storages and the streams in the document..But the
user data is some where in the stream..It is not specified
in the format about the offset of the user data..
I am trying to get that..
Any idea..

if you need more than this, you need to ask Microsoft for the binary file
format.
