how to fix options display

Hi,

I am using Outlook 2003 here in the office. I don't know how or when this
happened, but the display in the "Options" Menu is too big that it doesn't
fit the dialogue window. The fonts are big and bold. As a result, i cannot
read parts of the options menu screen because the right part is cut off.

I have tried changing the display settings (resolution, font, appearance,
etc.) and reinstalled outlook 2003, but i was unsuccessful. My video card is
an Nvidia Quadro PCI-E series.

The funny thing is, the displays in the other "options" menu in the other
office programs are in the normal size. Can anyone help? I've searched the
internet and the microsoft knowledgebase, but I could not find anything that
can help me out of this predicament.

If you go to Control Panel - Display - Settings - Advanced, what is the DPI
setting set to?

It's set to normal size, (96 DPI). Thanks.

Ok, strike one.

Out of curiousity, do you have Business Contact Manager on this install of
Outlook?

Sorry, no. Is there a way I can send you a screenshot? Just to give
you an idea.

You're more than welcome to send me a screenshot, but I don't know exactly
what that's going to do to help.

I asked about BCM because I vaguely recalled an issue with Outlook where BCM
was installed causing this sort of effect.

I know you said you did a Reinstall of Outlook, but one thing I'd want you
to do is a Detect and Repair on the Help menu. If you go into Control
Panel - Fonts, is the Tahoma font listed there? If you double click it,
does it display properly?

Muffman,

You did it! I feel so stupid, I forgot to do the detect and repair feature.
The display looks normal now. Thank you, thank you, thank you very much for
your help.
