Hi,
I have made a report using SQL Reporting services and it generates fine, and
it exports to Excel fine, but when users try to open the saved excel file the
following error is generated:
********
Microsoft Excel File Repair Log
Errors were detected in file 'TRial.xls'
The following is a list of repairs:
Damage to the file was so extensive that repairs were not possible. Excel
attempted to recover your formulas and values, but some data may have been
lost or corrupted.
.......see site below
*****
I have found a 'workaround' from Microsoft Help and Support, but is there a
way to correct the error instead of doing the workaround? Is there an
'Hotfix' or anything available?
This is the help page:

Thanks
