How to force time left in timesheets back into the project

Silly error made by PM has resulted in all actual work being reduced to zero
in an administrative project (thanks to DaleMVP for curing me of my ignorance
in this case!). The time is still in the tasksheets, so the information is
out there, and I want to force it back into the project. Does someone have a
cunning plan that would help me out?

I would be glad of some detail in the explanation because despite having
learnt tonnes over the last few months, I have not manipulated the databases
directly yet, and I suspect this may be necessary?

You might try asking one of the resources assigned to the task(s) in
question to try updating those tasks again in PWA. You can see if the
updates appear on the Updates page and if you can update them into the
administrative project. If it works, ask everyone in the project to do the
same. If not, then you haven't wasted much time and energy. Just a
thought. Hope this helps.
