How to Format Discussion Web Posts Frontpage 2002

I set up a message/discussion forum using the Frontpage "Discussion Web"
template.

When you enter your "post" in the form box, you can add line breaks and
white space to make your messsage more readable, but after you actualy post
it and it is displayed back, all that has been removed and it is one long
string of sentances with no parapgraph breaks, etc.

Is there a way to change that?
