How to generate the script for creating the database from a model

I created a database model using visio professional 2003 and I can't figure
out how to forward engineer the model to generate the database creation
script.

you have to use the correct product, the correct one comes with vs.net

So, the "professional" version of Visio, which has database designing as
a specific feature, doesn't allow you to create the database, or at
least the script, for the database you design?

Yes, that is correct. I think it is completely STUPID myself. I can
understand if they want to keep the functionality for connecting to a
database in a more expensive version, but they should at least allow you to
generate a text file with the creation script in it. I am not impressed.

Wow. That is pretty disappointing. Considering the level of detail that
they allow you to go with regards to the table design in visio, I'm
shocked that you can't export that somehow. My initial testing with the
VS.net db designer is that it is inferior to Visio Profession.
