How to get a larger font default when Word opens..... ?

I have looked in tools / options but can't see any way to change my size 10
font default to a size 14.......... must be a simple solution.
I want size 14 everytime I open WORD.

You should be able to do this by modifying the "Normal"
style and checking the "Add to Template" box.
