How to get a notification when a new mail is recieved in one of myIMAP accounts in Outlook 2007?

Hi,

I have setup my gmail emails to be synchronized with my Outlook 2007
using IMAP.
I want to get notified when a new mail arrives, in this account.

The desktop alert, i believe, is suposed to work only for the default
inbox.
So i tried to define a Rule saying :
-After a new mail arrives through "My IMAP account"
-Move a copy it to Inbox (default)
-Play some sound
-Display desktop alert

The rule works for existing items in my IMAP account (when i perform a
Run Rule Now) But it does not work when a new mail arrives in my IMAP
account mailbox.

What am i missing here?
I need some (any kind of) notification on for the new mails of this
account.
I will be using just this account in Outlook 2007.
