How to get back a document which was "oversaved"?

By error I saved a document in the name of another document ("save as").
Consequently, the other document got lost. Is there a way to get the document
back? I will appreciate your help, thank you

Sorry, but if you've overwritten the document your only chance is if you
have a backup that you, yourself, or your IT department, have made.
