How to get Cell contents in scrollbar mouseover, not cell#

Hello all -

I have a large Xcel 2000 file with last names in
column 'A'.
I'd like to use the scroll bar and see the actual cell
value rather than the cell# in the mouseover, as the cell#
is not terrifically valuable information.

Any hints or insights would help.
