Here's my situation:
Switched to Mac from PC and brought over my PERSONAL.XLS and
EXCEL11.XLB files. Put them both in Microsoft Office
2004:Office:Startup:Excel location. When I start Excel, my custom
toolbars show up and personal.xls shows up in hidden, so okay there.
When I click on a custom toolbar button, naturally, the link to the
macro is wrong (because it is referencing the old Windows location).
So I go to Customize and link it the hidden personal.xls and then it
works fine ... HOWEVER, after I close Excel and reopen it, even though
I've accepted to save personal settings, the old macro link comes back
and the button does not work. In other words, my changes to the toobar
are not saving. How can I fix this problem? Thanks!
