how to get it to automatically associate contact links with project

I have a project called 'customer contact," In that, I view all my
customers in the 'contacts' window of the project. When I get done
talking to Jane Smith on the phone, I then link a note or a task,
saying 'call back later," or whatever. However, Entourage does not
automatically associate that task with the project. So it doesn't
show up in the project window. Is there a way to get Entourage to
audomatically associate that so Id on't have to do it manually each
time I log a phone call? Thank you.

If you create the task from within the project then it should be
automatically associated. If you create the task outside the project
then you'll need to manually add that task to the project.

Am I misunderstanding you?

I'm creating the task from inside the project but it's not associating
linked items with the project, automatically. I go in through the
project "contacts" window. The contact is linked to the project.
Opening the contact, i create a new linked item such as a follow up
task like "call back on Monday." It does not associate it with the
project, unless I manually add it. Is there a way to do this or does
anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
