How to get names to display in a graph

I

Irishimp23

have a query with a date field, an employee field, and a score field. In
the criteria for the employee field I have [Enter Employee Name]. I then made
a graph (chart) pulling from the date by month and the score fields.
When an employee's name is typed into the dialogue box it brings up the
graph displaying all of the individual employee's scores entered to date and
the month the score was earned. However, there is no identifiable employee
name on the chart to know whose scores are being displayed. I tried to make a
graph with all three fields of the query including the employee name and it
gives me this error(The Microsoft Jet database engine does not recognize
<name> as a valid field name or expression. (Error 3070) because of my
specified [Enter Employee Name] criteria in the employee field.
How can I get the graph to pull scores by individual employee and still
identify the employee on the graph? Do I need to arrange my query differently?
I've posted this question in both the reports and queries section and have
not gotten a response. I am running out of time and need help desperately...
thanks in advance!
