I have 3 seperate users, all running and using Outlook 2000. I purchased
an Outlook 2003 volume license, and attempted an upgrade on these
machines. The install goes just fine, no errors or glitches. Once the
machine is restarted and Outlook 2003 is launched a login screen
appears, you can see in the background the migration/update screen about
to start, the user enters their sign-on information and clicks Ok, the
sign-on screen vanishes and the application freezes (waited for 20
minutes on all 3 computers before ending task)
If I attempt to relaunch Outlook 2003 or configure Mail within Control
Panel, after the users enter their sign-on the application freezes. No
spiked processes, no extra drive activity, it just freezes.
btw the entire process is done under administrative authority.
What do I do, any suggestions ???
