How to get product key for a free version of Office Home ver 2007

I purchased a Hp laptop from USA a few months back which supplied a free
version of Microsoft Office Home and student 2007. This does not require
product key. Now it is not functioning without product key and I donot have
the product key NOR Hp has provided it. What to do

If it was a full version supplied by HP, then HP will tell you were the key
is, however I suspect it is a trial version that once the trial period has
elapsed you have to purchase a key from MS to activate it. If that is the
case you would be better off purchasing the version you require from eg
amazon.com, that way being cheaper & you get the CD.
Uninstall any trial, and reboot, prior to installing from CD
