How to get rid of Norton and PDF toolbars once and for all

I have adobe acrobat and norton internet security 2006 installed on this PC.
how can I prevent the toolbars from aprearing evertime I create a new email
or open an email? Although I use the software, I dont need to toolbars..

The only way to get rid of the toolbars is to remove those applications or at least their Outlook integrations. See http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2002sp3.htm#problems for info on Acrobat.
