How to get Single Line Space

If I use OE6 to type some text and hit carriage return then it goes in the beginning
but just underneath my first line or that's we called Single line of spacing? Can we
do it the same with FP-xp so I don't have to type in OE6 -- because Single line space
in FP is actually Double spacing.

If you you just enter, it is a paragraph break.

You will also find this behaviour in most document editing programs. The
Return/Enter key signifies the beginning of a new paragraph, not a new line.
This is because in normal usage you do not need to do a 'new line' because
of word wrap.
If you need to insert a line break, use Shift-Enter.

To see what is actually happen, look at the rendered code. Whenever you use
the Enter key, you will see a </p> signifying the end of a paragraph and
then a <p> at the start of the new. Using Shift-Enter will give you a <br/>,
which means 'break'.
