How to get the macro run when the PowerPoint template is booted

The "PowerPoint.Application" command seems cannot get the
macro in a PowerPoint template run when the PowerPoint
template is booted in PowerPoint2002? Is there anyone who
knows how to get it done correctly? Thanks.
