Don, do you have Outlook Express installed on you new
hard disk? If so you can IMPORT old OE messages (don't
know how to import just the Inbox)from OE.
On (C
1. In OE clic on file, then import
2. select messages
3. select location which probably is (D
windows/application data/identities/.../.../Outlook Express
4. click ok
All messages should be imported to OE on (C then you can
select your inbox folder to export to OUTLOOK. I hope
this helps and there is not a conflict with Win98 and your
XP. I imported my files from Win98 to Win98SE and didn't
have any problems. If you have already tried the above
sets, I apologize for wasting your time. Just trying to
help. Maybe someone can tell you how to import directly
from OUTLOOK. I couldn't figure that out. Good luck, Sandy
