How to get Word to Work

I just loaded Office Professional 2007 on my computer XP Home....excell,
power point and publisher work well, but word keeps running a virus scan and
will not work at all so that to even end the program you have to do control
alt delete........i installed something that was recommended for Outlook and
now that won't run

Hi Sam,

This is not the right forum for your question
After looking at your issues, It is better to re-install Office 2007 again.
