How to have an outline show up on powe point slide

C

computers hate me

I have seen it before where on the left side of every power point slide there
is a basic outline of the main points you will be going over. As you go
through the presentation the part of the power point that you are on is
highlighted.I have no idea how to do this. Can anyone tell me how to enable
that on my Power Point.

Hi,

Are you thinking of Presenter View? In 2007, Slideshow tab, and click the
*Use Presenter View*. You need to be connected to an external monitor or
projector for it to work. From what I remember, it is in the Slideshow setup
dialogue in 2003. This allows you to see your slides as you present. It is
not really a true Outline view. You would have to create that manually, if
you need the exact same thing on your slides. But everyone would see them.
If that sounds confusing, please holler back.
