How to have tabbed document display in MS word 2003?

Just like how Firefox has tabs of open webpages in a single browser
instance, I want to see the tabs of open word documents in MS Word. Can
this be done?

I believe that is not a feature in Microsoft Word 2003 (or any other version for that matter), however, you
can enable the "Windows in Taskbar" option as an alternative (in Tools -> Options... -> View).
