How to hyperlink to another sheet in the same workbook

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel In Excel 2004 when you want to insert a hyperlink to another sheet in the same workbook you have a "bookmark" function that allows you to select any of the sheets in the workbook. I don't see the "bookmark" function in Excel 2008. How do you do this in 2008.

In excel 2008, choose insert>hyperlink. The screen that pops up, allows you to choose web address, document or email address. This should get you out of trouble.

Thanks Mungo

Unfortunately there is no where on that screen that offers the option to link to another sheet. It allows links to other documents, web pages, and email addresses but not to other sheets in the same workbook.

Unless you explicitly insist on the convenience of point 'n' click, just
type the reference for the target location into the 'Anchor' box, such as:

Sheet5!D10

Or enter it into the 'Link to' box as: #Sheet5!D10

Obviously, use the sheet names as they appear in your workbook. Also, the
cell reference can be a range, such as D10:D25, if you wish. There's no need
for a 'bookmark' because each cell reference on each sheet *is* a bookmark
for that location. If you have Named Ranges in the workbook they can be
entered in the 'Link to' as: #RangeName.

If you do prefer the point 'n' click you can click the Locate button, type
in the cell reference & select the sheet from the list be low or select the
range name from the same list.
