How to I export information from exactimate to project

I need to take information from exactimate program and put in project for
time managment and labor management of jobs along with expenses. How do I do
this?

Hi,

If exactimate has a link to Project Server, then use it. if not you will
need to develop a custom application to integrate the two. Either use PSI
for a direct Server update, or use Project VBA to update individual projects
when they are open. To facilitate this exactimate will need to use either
each task, resource and assignment's GUIDs or Unique Ids.

Hi TRCKC,

as Rod suggested you will need to custom develop your solution and if you
use Project Server I would recommend using the PSI ( project server
interface) which is a web service for project server. Please note, you will
need to make sure that you analyse your requirements very deeply. Integration
between timesheet and costing applications and project server can become very
complex depending on the granularity. I would recommend you use a Microsoft
partner that has had experience with integration. This will ensure that you
get what you are after.
