How to I freeze toolbars so they do not move?

Matt

Hello all.

I have a problem with my toolbars in allOffice 2003 applications. They do
not stay where I put them when I exit the programs. When I re-open them, not
only are they shuffled, but some are un-docked and in the middle of the
screen.

Any insight on how to remedy this situation would be most helpful.

Do you have any third party add-ins installed? Have you tried renaming
normal.dot, preparing your Word toolbars as you wish, then change the font
and make it the default? This normally will "fix" your Word window with all
of your customizations intact each time you open Word.

Hi Milly.

Yes - third party add-ons are the issue. LiveMeeting, WebEx and Adobe
Acrobat toolbar buttons are the ones that don't seem to want to stay in
place. I'll try what you suggest below.

Thanks!

Matt
