How to I get the date in Autotext to appear - Word 2007?

R

On most of the machines I work on in Word 2007, when I start typing the date,
it appears and I can press enter. One machine in particular will not allow
me to do it no matter what. Is there a setting that will turn this feature
on in Word 2007, or at least a fix to this? Any assistance is much
appreciated!!

Open the VBA editor (ALT+F11)
Press CTRL+G to open the Immediate Window
Type Application.DisplayAutoCompleteTips = True
and press enter.
(Replace True with False and repeat to turn it off again)
Close the VBA editor.
