How to I reset to default settings in Word 2002?

Well...I fiddled with all the options and I dont know how to revert back to
the orginal settings? How do I do this guys? I cant seem to find it in help
either.

Thank you Suzanne. Everything went perfect. I have just one more question.
Why dont I see the task pane on the right of the page even though I have
gone back to the defaults?

If you have any add-ins in Word's Startup folder, they will suppress the New
Document task pane. See

Hi Suzanne,

I had about the same problem and your information helped a lot.
Thank you very much.
Since I know quite a few people who were desperately trying
to reset their Word parameters, I think it would be useful if
there was some help available in the MS Word help system.
