How to import data from an Excel Spreadsheet into Access

I would like to find a way to add/import/combine however
you term it to an existing database.

Most likely into several new datad fields with a common
denominator. For example a part number.

Currently the only way I know how to do it is by linking
two datadbases which were imported fron Excel. However,
as it happens now only the common records with identical
Part number are included.

Any advice how to do it will be appricated
