How to import data?

Hi

My question would be, how can I access , or load data
into an excel workbook from a different workbook? I've
tried it with hyperlinks but they can't seem to import
specific data (cells) only point to the whole workbook.
I'd like to have the data (that I specify wich cell ect
it came from) to be available in the new sheet so I can
manipulate it.

Any help would be appreciated
