How to include a picture control in a web-enabled infopath form?

Ade

Hi everyone,

I created a form that has to be opened up with a web browser, and I need to
allow user to add in picture when entering information into the form.
However, the picture control in InfoPath is disable. Is there anyway I can
resolve this?

Thanks.

Picture controls are not supported for web enabled forms.

I'm not positive of the reasoning, but I believe it has to do with the fact that these web forms need to support all down-level browsers, including those that don't support such features--like some phone browsers, or such.

Dear Greg,

If I really need to allow users to add in their customers' logo into the
web-enabled form, what should i do?

Cheers,

Hey Ade,
One work around (although a bit hacky) is to provide the user a rich text
box and let them paste a picture in that way.
Another option and this one depends on your process is to Allow the users to
attach an image file to the form, then using managed code map that through
to an image control on a separate view. Then when the form is opened in the
rich client the logo will be displayed.

I know this doens't solve your problem outright but it might give you some
new options to check out.

Cheers
