how to increase or decrease font in word.

THE COMMAND Ctrl+Shift+> OR Ctrl+Shift+<, WHICH I USED FOR YEARS SUDDENLY
DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE. I TRIED OTHERS:
Ctrl+> Increase to the next listed font size
Ctrl+< Decrease to the next listed font size
Ctrl+] Increase by 1 point
Ctrl+[ Decrease by 1 point)
BUT THEY DO NOT WORK EITHER
HOW CAN I RESTORE THE USEFUL KEYBOARD SHORTCUT?
I TRIED "DETECT AND REPAIR" WITH OUT SUCCESS (UNFORTUNATELY I EVEN LOST ALL
THE INFORMATION I GATHERED FOR YEARS IN OUTLOOK)
