How to input International + sign

Hi All,

I am using Outlook 2002 with Window XP Pro. When I add
new contact telephone or edit an old contact, I select
the country and the international + sing will appear
before the country code. The problem is it disappear
whenever I open the contact again!

I need the + sign because I syn with my mobile and I want
to dial conveniently. Now I can't. I have to note the
number and retype the tel. number in my Nokia phone. How
can I resolve this problem???
