How to insert a task into the calendar as an appointment?

I have a list of tasks in Outlook, and when an opportunity
to schedule a task comes up, I would like to put it on the
calendar (appointment). Is there a way to do this?

I am running Outlook 2000 on Win 2000

You can right-click a task and drag it to the Calendar folder -- when
you release the mouse button you'll get a bunch of options for creating
a new appointment based on the task.
