How to insert check boxes

Hello,

I would be grateful if someone could show me how to insert check boxes
on a word document. I am using Office 2000 and I could insert crosses
by going to Toolbars --> Forms but can't figure out how to put checks
instead of crosses. I know a few fax templates on word have this
feature.

View | Toolbars | Web Tools
Place cursor where you want the box, & click the checkbox.

To check or uncheck the box, double-click it, select, & OK.

Hi KZ...

I have a pile of free tutorials that explain how to create forms in Word. See this link: http://www.mousetrax.com/techpage.html#autoforms

Make sure you check out the series called "Please Fill Out This Form" as that starts from the beginning and will provide you with a lot of beginner help. The other articles build on that info.
