After first install of Office XP on a WinXP system (no
previous installs of either office or OS) *all* the
programs came up with the "splash" screen
saying "uninstalled version". After de-install and
reinstall several times, only Excel and Outlook come up
with the "uninstalled" message.
Because they do, though, some functions don't work right.
How can you get these programs to recognize that they are
installed when they are already running?
