How to install Office 97 upgrade have Works on Dell PC

OK. I did this with Office 2000 Upgrade which worked
fine. Take the first Office CD and burn a copy of it.
When you enter setup, and it says searching for previous
installation, and then says could not find previous
installation, and asks you for the drive of the previous
installation, select the drive with the burned copy of
the CD. It reads this and poof! you have installed it
Office from a upgrade CD without a previous installition
there.
