How to install Office Home and Student 2007 on laptop

Kidz

I see this question has been asked before, but I am just not understanding. I
have downloaded the Office H/S from the Microsoft Site onto my home computer.
I also want it on my laptop. I know I can have it on up to 3 computers. I
just don't know how to get it on my laptop. I saw one suggestion that said to
put it on a USB and transfer it over that way. I'm very simple when it comes
to computers so I need details. How do I get it onto the USB? if that is the
easiest way, and then how do I get it off onto the laptop? Pretend like I
don't know anything when explaining, because I don't! Thank you in advance!

Did you make or purchase a back up disk? Did you purchase the Digital Locker
option?

I did not make or purchase a back up disk that I know of. I did purchase the
Digital Locker Option.

If I'm not mistaken, then you can download it again with that option. You
will have to ask Digital River how to do that.

You will have downloaded the installation files together with receiving an
email containing your key
Burn both of these to a cd/dvd
Insert said cd in the other pc, open the cd in explorer, double click the
setup file
I think the the Lock box is only valied for 1 year
If you still have the option to purchase the disk, in your circumstances do
so

Thank you all for your help. I did it! What I did was go to my confirmation
email which took me to my purchase history/confirmation and I just pressed on
Download again and it did! I still don't have a disk, but I'm good for
now...thank you again.

Save that downloaded file to some type of backup media. Put a usb device
with at least 500 MB in size in the computer. Copy the installation file to
that USB device using Windows Explorer or My Computer. Save the file. You
will need it later if you ever have to install to the same computer or to a
different computer. If you don't know how to simply copy a file from one
place to another you need to do a little research on the subject as this is
one of the more standard jobs you need to do on a computer.
