How to install patch for 2003 upgrade when not longer have old 20.

I am trying to install the current patches to Office 2003 which is an
upgrade. The patch now calls for disk 2 of Office 2000 which I no longer
have. I do have all of the updated version 2003.

Why doesn't it want that one and not the 2000 version?

How do I update these patches now?

Likely because you have an Office 2000 application(s) from CD number 2
{perhaps Publisher 2000} that was not uninstalled when upgrade to Office
2003 because the 2003 version was not included in your edition of Office
2003.

As a upgrade the application you upgraded from is part of your Office 2003
license and should be retained. Also, if you ever need to reinstall clean,
you will need the old CDs as a qualifying product.

If you do not already do so, suggest you consider imaging your system {there
are several good image programs} to minimize the needed to reinstall Office
2003.

As Microsoft no longer provides Office 2000 replacement CDs, suggest you
consider one of the following:

Try such as EBay to obtain and Office 2000 edition that matches what you
had.
Upgrade you leftover Office 2000 applications to the Office 2003
version. Doing so will not solve a clear reinstall problem {see image
above}.

Perhaps someone could suggest other solutions.
