how to join two pictures

I don't have publisher but I want to put two pictures side by side and save
as one photo. Can I do this with microsoft office picture.

This newsgroup is for Microsoft Project, a scheduling application. You 'll
have better responses posting in a more apprpriate newsgroup. I do not
believe Microsoft Office Picture Manager will do this for you. You could
try Paint, but that is pretty elementary.
