Hello,
I am new to the forum, and have what I expect to be a rather simple
question to answer.
I work with several excel worksheets that are prefilled with default
information, and have blanks spots for new information to be added so
that I can print or send the file to a client so they can print it. I
am worried that when I am sending the worksheet, they can modify the
information on the sheet - just as simply as I did. Considering this
would put my job at risk if anyone ever did, I would like to find an
alternative way to send the file to them, without them having the
ability to modify the file.
I tried saving the file as a .htm, but when I did that; it lost all of
my graphics on the page (.htm will only show graphics if they are
available locally.)
Are there any other ways to keep recipients from altering the
worksheet? What I would prefer is that when they open it from their
email, it didnt look so much like a worksheet (with cells and what
not), but more like a .pdf file that can only be viewed.
Thanks in advance for any advice and help!
Jay
