I have been trying without success to permanently disable the dialog box
that pops up warning of the dangers of opening an attachment. I'm running
Outlook 2000 SP3. I can uncheck the "always ask before opening this type of
file" box but it is again checked the next time I try to open a file. I
just want to click on a .jpg file, for instance, and have it open without
the warning dialog box appearing first which requires clicking again to
actually open the .jpg file. Is Outlook broken in that you can't uncheck the
always ask box? Is there any way to accomplish what I want to do. Registry
edits are ok.
thanks for any feedback.
