how to learn to write a plugin for outlook

I am new to programming in vc++ and building a frontend for gpg. I also need
to develop a plugin for the same (OUTLOOK). Can anyone please guide me the
procedural steps as to how should one go about learning how to build a
plugin. can you please guide me with a flowchart type guidance or post some
link which can elaborate on this issue

I want to learn and build on my own. I need help on what to read what to
refer to be able to get clear on concept of building a plugin for
outlook....can any one please show some direction...regards

but it can't hurt to google a bit. Use "outlook add-in" among
your search strings.
