How to leave copy of email on Server and on Entourage

I have an email account used by multiple people, and after installing
and setting up entourage on one laptop, the inbox on the server is
being whiped clean and all of us cannot access the emails.

How do I leave a copy of emails on the server and use entourage?

I assume it is a POP account...
It's more or less expected with this type of account. I believe there is
an advanced setting for the account allowing you to leave a copy on the
server, but by far, the best option would be to use the account as IMAP.
You might want to check. IMAP could be available for this account.
IMAP is designed from the ground up to keep the messages stored on the
server.
