How to limit validation list

Hi,

I'm trying to find a way to use validation (or any other function) and
can't figure out how to limit the list used for validation.

Imagine having a main categories in column A, and sub categories in column
B. I choose a main category using validation (list with a valid main
category). So far so good. But I need to limit the list for sub categories
to only show sub categories that belongs to the main category I selected
in column A.

The list of valid categories looks like this:

Main category 1 Sub category 1
Main category 1 Sub category 2
Main category 1 Sub category 3
Main category 2 Another sub category 1
Main category 2 Another sub category 2
etc.....

This list is a seperate sheet in the same workbook.

Simple stuff really, but I can't figure out how to get a dropdown list in
column B with Sub category 1-3 when I select Main category 1 in column A..
All other sub categories must be excluded.

Any suggestions?
