How to link a folder to onenote?

Hi,

I can drag and drop a file to a page and ON asks me if the file itself
is to be kept in my "notebook". Thats fine.

However, when I drag and drop a "folder", it only creates a link to that folder.
However, I would like ON to move that folder to the ON "notebook".
Is there a way to do that? Or do I need to move the folder to the notebook folder
myself, and than create a link?

As you've found, dragging a folder from Explorer into OneNote creates a
FILE:// link to that folder. You would have to drag the folder in Explorer
from its original location to a location underneath your "My Notebook"
folder to have it appear in OneNote.
