How to link visio 2003 shapes to different excel 2003 worksheets?

Hi,

I can't find any resolutions via the internet and hope you can help me with
the following problem.

I can create a link to an excel file without any problem, but I want
different shapes inside visio 2003 to open different worksheets within that
particular excel file. Can that be achieved in visio 2003 Professional?

it would require custom code, but it is doable.

I apologize, my response may have been too quick. Have you checked out
associating the shape to the worksheet with hyperlinks?

mentioned below. Are you able to guide me or link me to any available
tutuorial page?

Btw, my whole intention is to link different visio diagrams (ie: PC
workstation 1 link to Excel Worksheet 1, PC workstation 2 link to Excel
Worksheet 2 and so forth) to different excel worksheets.
