How to locate missing timesheet submissions.

Hi all,

In 2003 the was the possibility of going into resources and selecting
adjust actuals, selecting all resources and how much time had been
input was available. If no work had been input the system would return
0, this could then be exported to excel.

However I am trying to track non submission in 2007 and I am
struggling. It appears that adjust actuals view has gone, which if you
are aware of where this has gone and how I can adjust the actuals for
a selected group of people that would be great. I have read a post
that discribed how to adjust actuals one by one, but in 2003 this
could be done on a select max 100 people level.

However the main point that I would like assistance with is the
checking the PWA for the users who have not submitted time as this
option is no longer visible. As discribed in the opening paragraph?

Thanks in advance,
Christopher

Hello Christopher,

What I would suggest is to create a Data Analysis view using the timesheet
olap cube.
There you could use the "Timesheet status" field and have a table reporting
the number of actual Work against this field for each resource.

Something like:

week 23/52 week 24/52 week 25/52
resource1
in progress
16
submitted 38
approved 41

resource 2
in progress 40
10
submitted
approved 39

If current week is week 25, a quick look at the table above would show that:
- timesheet manager for resource 1 has not yet approved timesheet for week 24
- resource 2 has not yet submitted his/her timesheet for week 24

Hope it helps,

But how will this show who hasn't even created a timesheet yet? If a team
member creates a timesheet you'll see it in "In progress" but you won't see
anything for those members that have yet to create one.
