I'm using MS Project Server and when my resource inform the same number of
hours as it was planned the task disappear of his task list. However, this
task could use more effort than planned and I would like to maintain the
task even if reach the hours planned. How can I do that?

TIA,

Artur,

Your resources should have a field called Remaining Work on their
timesheets. If they enter all of their Actual Work for the week, they
should also, every time, be verifying the Remaining Work. That way, if
they finish a task without using all of the estimated work, they can
enter "0" Remaining Work and close the task, and if the use all of the
estimated work, but the task is incomplete, they can enter the new
estimated Remaining Work, and the task remains open and active.

Artur --

In the sidepane on the left side of the My Tasks page in Project Web Access,
there are two links called "Current Tasks" and "All Tasks". When your
people enter the same number of hours of Actual Work on a task as the
planned work for that task, PWA assumes that the task is completed. This
means that the task is no longer a "Current Task" and it is hidden from
view. So that your people can always see all tasks on the My Tasks page,
they can simply click the "All Tasks" link in the sidepane. Hope this
helps.
